I have the first nine months at 7.04" about 1/4" ABOVE normal for the year! About 1 out of 3 years will see a June-July with 0" of rain, so this is not unusual. The 2014-2015 season came in at 9.01", about an inch below normal, but the highest amount in four years. My records show there was no rain in December 1929, but the following January had 3.90". Normal is .12" so not much difference. The monsoon season has been a total disappointment, just nothing except a few days of very minimal cumulus over the mountains. Redding set a rainfall total record Tuesday, and more is on the way for the rest of the week. If June does come in at zero, we'll still end up with 12.83" for the July-June season, almost 4 times last year's seasonal total of just 3.40".
