The first week of owning the car, the power steering and acceleration went out while driving on two separate occasions. Mechanic popped out the control assembly and correctly fastened the connector, 1st service oil change.

The dealership advised they did an update on the power control model and fixed a wheel speed sensor.

Finally replaced part (after weeks on backorder)and original problem of vibrating noise went away. Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the rearview mirror, free of charge.

Automatic back door lock failed to open and close. Oil leak Still waiting on the part. Bump the Journey problem graphs up another notch. Key fob replacement. rim and tire pressure sensor valve repair/replacement. Plastic tyre valve split effectively making the car undriveable as no spare on this car. After diagnosis, replaced the starter.

I was told that the battery was almost dead and they had to do a reset. Took in for oil change, shop boy blew power steering pump by forcing steering wheel past where it should be, Hubby was there, it made a horrible squeal & started leaking fluid.

Confirmed a leak somewhere.

The approximate failure mileage was 22,000. Much better now, though still not 100 percent satisfactory. Driver power window not working right, new module and door switch. Dealership damaged exhaust gasket(s) in process so they also had to be replaced. I'll have to get used to push button start and stop, but that's ok. Transmission was leaking and back up camera was not working. Case cracked on PTO, car was undrivable. problem has not resurfaced in 3 weeks. It appears that a faulty connection in an aftermarket head-lite bulb, the ground side, was loose causing an overheat condition which melted part of the socket. Once again the control module failed. Identified during rear brake job. Timing belt was improperly installed (off 2 teeth on one cam sprocket). Replaced starter - still happened.

Car has been good now for a while, Wiring plug for window control panel on driver's door was not fully seated.

After a few minutes, the vehicle restarted and the failure went away.

When driving with transmission technician in right seat, he determined an exhaust sound. Had it towed. Journey. Oil pressure sender has become intermittent, yet again - the dealer messed up, tried a firmware update, and then tried to change me $98 for 'flashing the car' - now, my car is under warranty until December 15, 2021 and this wasn't as if I walked in and asked them to flash the car - they were trying to fix a defect .

Rotors alone replaced by shop as pads still have lots of life left. To remove the assembly required removing to plastic inserts and then sliding the assembly out.

a/c flushed and proper lbs of freon added. Battery replaced. Driver's seat was creaking. . Had to be done at dealer due to the poor serviceability of the battery. Premature rear brake wear. Took car in and told me that the drain hose from the sunroof was clogged. Replaced. Rear brake on drivers side, pads siezed on caliper causing brake to get hot and smoke. Engine light came on.

Intermittent freezing/black display on UConnect system. Found and replaced leaking rear differential input flange seal. ABS sensor damaged during earlier repair replaced.

Not done paying for January repair (nearly $1,000)! New battery installed. Cloth gray seats stain badly with rain water or snow if not wiped immediately despite being scotch-guarded three times. Recommend the v6 as it was only a moderate upgrade from the 4cyl model. Won't start at times. After repair, now the muffler seems louder. Was leaking from plastic coupler where hose joined together.
