#WeAreManly pic.twitter.com/xbVhtMMbzF. 7.28pm: The Raiders haven't scored in the last 20 minutes of the previous three games, and their last three games at GIO Stadium. 7.31pm: Canberra are lucky to get another set as Manly are forced to drop the ball out despite Cotric getting his hands to the ball. 7.16pm: The points have slowed down but the errors are racking up. Meanwhile, the performance was one of the best of Penrith's season, with the Panthers completing at 91 per cent and playing expansive football. It was far from the Raiders' best performance but they did enough to edge a willing Cowboys outfit, with both teams scoring two tries in Townsville. The final 12 minutes saw four captains' challenges, with the Cowboys correct with both but they couldn't find the points for a win or to take the match into golden point. The excuse: ''We call in it live time, Elliott''.
7.20pm: A good finish to a poor set as Sezer wins his side another chance with a nice grubber in-goal for six more! 7.44pm: This is bananas! Canberra have the first set. OUT! 7.48pm: Sezer goes for a field goal. They were caught out just two minutes into the match when North Queensland hooker Reece Robson dashed over the line from dummy half.
The back-rower gets a try against his former club as Trbojevic puts him through with a nice hole-ball. Earlier on Saturday, Canberra showed its class to sneak home with a 14-12 win over North Queensland, while the Sydney Roosters survived an almighty scare from Gold Coast to escape with an 18-12 triumph. 16 seconds left on the clock.
5.27pm: It's freezing in Canberra but the Manly fans have no issues trading in the beach for the cold. Tommy Turbo lays it on for @joel_thompson12!#TelstraPremiership#NRLRaidersManly#NRL pic.twitter.com/9L2AIkwVB5. Croker sprays it wide, Manly 14-6. Praise must go to Adam Geewho didn't opt for the video referee to check an obstruction in a correct call.
5.24pm: Both Canberra and Manly will line-up 1-17 with no changes from the teams named on Tuesday. Hodkinson returns to the field and it's 13 on 13.
Manly attacking again.
7.02pm: Things have kicked off where they ended with the Raiders almosr forcing a drop-out through their first chance with the ball. 6.00pm: KICK OFF! GAME ON! The loss drops the Sea Eagles back out of the top eight and with a crucial few weeks ahead before Tom Trbojevic's planned return in three matches. Sharpshooter Croker then showed his value, nailing the conversion from the sideline to put his side ahead again. This is insanity! 7.32pm: Are they choking again in the big moments? That appeared to seal the deal before Sami crossed with five minutes remaining to give Roosters fans a tense finish. 7.36pm: Turbo comes up with his first blunder as he knocks it on to keep their opposition alive! But there was no denying Anthony Don eight minutes later when the prolific winger started and finished his own 75-metre effort. But while Penrith shot out of the blocks to a 22-0 lead after 30 minutes, it was an absolute horror show for Manly. 7.08pm: What a passage of play! A 35th-minute penalty strike by captain Jarrod Croker allowed his team to take an 8-6 lead to half-time. Nathan Cleary also put on a masterclass, setting up two tries and scoring one of his own in the second half when he regathered his own grubber. Nick Cotric boosts his Origin credentials with a nice finish in the corner of a slick set play. The replays show he jumped the gun by about 7 metres!
End to end stuff! Cleary kicked a 40-20 before another try before one of his grubbers rebounded into Penrith hands and Viliame Kikau put on an offload for Stephen Crichton to score. A goal-line dropout gives the away side another chance, but in a rareity, Aidan Sezer ran down the shot clock to long and cost them a penalty. Manly 14-12.
After scrambling for much of the half, somehow the Roosters went to the break with a 10-6 advantage after half-back Kyle Flanagan added two penalties to his conversion of Mitch Aubusson's try. Jamal Fogarty was also denied a try in just the second minute, the half-back touching down only for the bunker to rule Titans teammate Brian Kelly had passed him the ball off the ground.
7.10pm: An ordinary call from the assitant referee gives Manly a breakthrough on the fifth tackle as they deemed Whitehead tripped Thompson as he grubbered the ball.
Sezer kicks an ugly field goal. The Titans were reduced to 12 men for a second time in the match when Keegan Hipgrave was sin-binned for taking out Lindsay Collins. We lead 2-0.#WeAreRaiders #NRLRaidersManly pic.twitter.com/S9I2KMmR2x.
