In my opinion, music-wise it's a definite step toward the hard rock side and shows the guys' maturity with nice layers of sound & production. There's a problem loading this menu at the moment. Inner sleeve is pictured; one side is of the band in a sunset scene with Don't Believe The Truth written above them and the back side features all the lyric prints (same as the inside of the CD booklet). Will you tell me when my order is on its way? I own the original US version and the 2009 reissue, but this is hands down the best verson. Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2015.

Sometimes, Oasis' lyrics don't make sense, but they are filled with passion and emotion and are a great soundtrack to good times. Not talking Be Here Now layers and over-production...but clean, well-thought parts spanning a handful of sensible instruments.
It is a vastly different sound to the first trilogy and a significantly different sound than the newer trilogy it belongs to.
Both in production and execution, Don't Believe The Truth feels like an album better suited to 1965 than 2005. I got this album for such a low price, and it includes the actual album, and a bonus disc of Oasis, live at the metro in Chicago back in '94.
