Mr Bad Guy is a pretty good album all round, Barcelona is absolutely amazing and should be part of any Queen fan's collection, and the bonus CD has some early tracks which are worth having and some singles that are as good as anything on Mr Bad Guy. Physically, the album cover is in near-perfect condition and the CD has no flaws. Queen's American stock may have fallen somewhat in the 1980s. Ok first the good. The album is mainly made up of remixes from his past releases, as well as the original versions of "Barcelona," "Love Kills," "Exercises in Free Love," and "The Great Pretender." Some (but not all) of these tracks appear on The Freddie Mercury Album, released posthumously, but they've been mucked up by a number of different producers (I think the technical term is "remixed"). Totally remixed which gives this album a fresh feel. "Mr. Bad Guy" is FUN. Sometimes this cd is difficult to find and the higher price made me think about it...... but I am so glad I bought it!

While it's true that these are present, they aren't any worse or more apparent than on other pop and rock material of the era; if anything, they are actually integrated into the material better than in many other albums from the time. Originally the album was to be named "Made In Heaven" but was changed before release to Mr. Bad Guy. I didn't mind paying rather more than usual for this CD as it is obvious it's not the easiest one to come across.

A great new take on a truly underrated release. The songs on this album are as Freddie intended, and are much better for being that. And brought back some very happy memories associated with the music. Every time I listen to Made In Heaven, I get shivers running up my spine because I find the song so nice. During that era, Mercury also launched a promising solo career that produced two wildly disparate albums, a handful of singles, and contributions to other projects that are documented in this three-disc collection.
